Cairo is set to host the largest Saudi investment delegation ever, following the signing of the Agreement on the Promotion and Protection of Mutual Investments, which safeguards the rights of investors from both countries. March 2025: The Egyptian House of Representatives approves the agreement. April 2025: The General Authority for Investment and Free Zones hosts the Egyptian–Saudi Investment Forum, attended by 300 representatives from more than 70 Egyptian and Saudi companies and economic institutions.
